Oversized Clack Fans Built for Raves, Festivals, Pride & Drag
Real bamboo wood frames. Real satin printed fabric. Real clack fans that open to 25 inches, snap loud, photograph huge, and last way longer than the disposable ones at the souvenir shop.
What is a YMYW clack fan, actually?
A YMYW clack fan is the oversized folding fan you'll see ravers, drag performers, and festival people carrying on purpose. It's not the polite paper fan from a wedding favor table. It's the 25-inch-wide statement piece you snap open in the middle of a crowd to start a conversation — or shut with a loud, dramatic clack when the breakdown hits.
We make ours the way they should be made. Real bamboo wood ribs. Smooth satin printed fabric. Oversized 13.5″ closed / 25″ open span. Designed in Las Vegas by the same team behind the LED jackets, fiber-optic hoodies, and LUCKY STAR gear seen at every major US festival.
This page is the full lineup — 10 designs, all $36.99, ranging from NSFW one-liners to LUCKY STAR pattern fans to a wholesome wave for the gratitude crowd. Pick the one that says what you're already thinking.

Star Dark
The night side. White shapes fracture across black like cracked light. YMYW logo sits clean in the corner. Wordless, dramatic, reads huge from across a crowd.

Star White
The daylight half. A hypnotic six-point star sits at the center of a black-and-white wave field that radiates across the full 25-inch span. Drag-ready. Pride-ready. Runway-ready.
Shop Star White →Dare to Scan
Every YMYW fan has a printed "Dare to Scan" QR code on the lower panel. Point a phone, drop into the YMYW world. We added it because strangers were always asking where the fan was from. Now the fan answers for you.
It's a small thing. It's also a real conversation starter at the function — a different one than the slogan does. The QR is curiosity bait. The slogan is the punchline.
Why our clack fans last past one festival
There are $5 folding fans on Amazon. They're made of paper and plastic, they tear by the end of the first night, and the print fades by the second. We don't compete with those. Here's what we actually build:
Real bamboo ribs
Solid bamboo wood frame, not painted plastic. Snaps clean, holds tension, doesn't crack at the pivot.
Satin printed panel
Smooth satin fabric — the print stays sharp, the fabric doesn't pill, fray, or warp after a long weekend.
Oversized span
13.5″ closed, 25″ open. Big enough to actually move air, big enough that the slogan reads from across a crowd.
Loud snap
The signature clack. Comes from the bamboo, not a gimmick. You'll know the difference the first time you shut one.

No one buys a rave hand fan because it's practical. People buy them because they want to be the moment, not just attend it. We made all 10 designs the same size and same materials specifically so you can pick the one that fits your fit, not the one that fits the budget.
What customers actually say
Pulled from our Etsy shop — 885 reviews, 4.9 average. The phrase that shows up in nearly every review:
"Got so many compliments at music festival."
"Sturdier than I expected. Worth every penny."
"The seller is super helpful. Genuine and responsive."
"Wish I'd bought one for my friend too. Going to."
"Great quality, fast shipping, highly recommended."
"Absolutely gorgeous. Photographs perfectly under stage lights."
FAQ
How big is a YMYW clack fan when it's open?
Twenty-five inches wide when fully open, thirteen and a half inches closed. All ten designs are the exact same size and the exact same materials — only the print on the panel changes.
What are these fans actually made of?
Bamboo wood frame with a satin printed fabric panel. The bamboo is what gives you the loud clack. The satin is what holds the print sharp under stage lights and through a sweaty festival weekend.
What's the difference between a clack fan and a regular hand fan?
Size, sound, and intent. A regular paper hand fan is a polite cooling accessory. A clack fan is oversized, built with bamboo ribs that snap loud, and used as much for the moment as for the breeze. Ravers, drag performers, and ballroom culture all use them as statement pieces.
Will the print fade?
Not under normal use. We use proper print methods on the satin panel — not stickers, not cheap transfer paper. Some of our Etsy customers have been carrying their YMYW fans across multiple festival seasons without fade.
Are the slogans actually that explicit?
On three of them — Fucking Hot, Hot As Fuck, More Techno Less Drama — the slogan is printed uncensored. They're not subtle. If you want the same energy without the language, Look At Me, Why Not Be Hot, and Can I Get A Bump? hit close. For pure pattern with no text, see Star Dark or Star White.
What's the "Dare to Scan" QR code on the fan?
It's a printed QR code on the lower panel of every fan. Strangers see it, scan it, and land on yourmindyourworld.com. We added it because people kept asking where the fan was from — now the fan answers for them.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide from Las Vegas. International orders go via DHL at USPS pricing — usually arrives within days. About 10% of our sales are international.
Can I return a fan if I don't love it?
Yes, within 14 days. There's a 10% restocking fee on returns to cover processing. Reach out to Martin directly at 702-443-2570 if there's an issue — he handles those personally.
Why is a YMYW fan $36.99 and an Amazon fan is $5?
Because Amazon fans aren't built to last. The materials are paper and plastic. The print fades. The pivot cracks. YMYW fans are made the way they should be made — real bamboo, real satin, oversized, and designed to last through multiple seasons. Our customers come in skeptical and leave saying it was "worth every penny." Their words, not ours.
Made by people who actually go to festivals
I'm Martin. YMYW has been making festival fashion in Las Vegas for over a decade — LED jackets, fiber-optic hoodies, masks, gloves, and now hand fans. Every product on this page came out of a problem we kept hitting at our own raves, Pride weekends, and Burning Man trips.
