Why YMYW
Your Mind Your World has been designing light-up festival fashion for over a decade. Our customers say it best — “got so many compliments” shows up in nearly every review. We obsess over the details so your piece glows brighter and keeps working season after season, instead of dying in months like cheap LED gear.
Too bright to lose. Too bold to forget.
Questions, answered
How bright is it, really?
Bright — this is the boldest glow in the line. It’s built with 260+ ultra-bright LEDs along the fur trim, so it reads as a hard outline of light across a dark festival field from far away. The trim glows at the front edges, hem, cuffs, and hood; the printed body stays unlit.
How do I control the colors?
With the free app (iOS and Android) — 16 million colors and 120 dynamic presets, with adjustable speed and brightness plus strobe, pulse, and fade.
Is it really two coats in one?
Yes — it’s fully reversible. Two complete premium designs in one coat, wearable on both sides, with smooth reversible zippers.
How long does it glow, and how is it powered?
It runs on a standard 5V USB power bank — the same kind you use to top up your phone, so you can use the one you already have (a power bank is not included). Any 5V USB bank gives you hours of glow, and you can swap in a spare to keep going all night. There is a hidden power-bank pocket inside the coat.
Does it have pockets?
Six deep zip pockets — two of them hidden in the side seams — plus a dedicated Velcro power-bank pocket and a receiver compartment.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Disconnect the three wire connectors, the Bluetooth receiver, and the power bank first. Then hang the coat, spray it inside and out with mild detergent and warm water, wait 15–20 minutes, rinse with a shower head, and hang-dry in the shade. Reconnect only when it’s 100% dry. The upgraded version is also machine-wash safe on a gentle cycle once those connectors, the receiver, and the power bank are removed.
What if it rains?
The coat can get wet — that’s no problem. It’s the power bank that has to stay dry: if it rains, switch off, remove the power bank, and keep the power bank dry.
Where’s it meant to be worn?
It’s an outdoor piece — built for cooler-night raves, festival grounds, and nights out. The brightest glow in the catalog, in one coat.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes. It’s backed by the YMYW one-year quality warranty covering manufacturing defects in the electronics, wiring, and construction under normal use, plus 14-day returns and exchanges.
